What Is JAMB CAPS?
CAPS stands for the JAMB Central Admission System. To ensure accurate and transparent admission procedures, the management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) developed this system.
The Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) is designed to enable educational institutions to request Nigerian students who meet their cut-off mark through a “marketplace” on the JAMB website.
Under the current system, institutions can only accept students who meet their admission cut-off mark. Students who score below the cutoff mark will not be admitted, regardless of the relationship of their applications.
JAMB Caps Login 2025/2026 Portal
Follow the guideline below to access JAMB CAPS Portal:
- Go to JAMB CAPS Portal via http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/
- Enter your email address.
- Enter your password.
- Click on LOGIN to access the JAMB caps portal.
How to Accept Admission on JAMB Caps
- Go to http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/ and log in with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
- Next, locate the “Admission Tab” on the left-hand side of the page and click on it to reveal the drop-down menu which contains the “Check Admission Status Button. “
- Click on the Check Admission Status Button under the Admission Tab button.
- Select your Examination Year from the Drop-Down and enter your JAMB Registration Number in the empty column.
- Click on the “Check Admission Status Button” and wait for your admission status to be come-up.
- If you have been given admission you will get a response with your Photo Image being displayed and a text Congratulating you on your admission offer, but if you are not offered any admission yet you will get a text response with “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet. “
- If you have been offered admission, you can proceed to ACCEPT OR REJECT ADMISSION.
How to Login to JAMB Portal Using Only Registration Number
Go to https://www.jamb.gov.ng/efacility/ to access your JAMB profile.
Note that you will need to switch your browser to desktop mode to access and use some of the features of your portal.
Google Chrome is an excellent browser for this. To enable the desktop version of the JAMB portal, use the Google Chrome browser.
Press and hold the three vertical dots or the red-up arrow in the top right corner of your phone;
Then you select “desktop site,” and that’s it.
All content displayed in your browser is organized in the same way as in the browser on a computer system or laptop when using the desktop site settings.
You will need to provide the e-mail address and password you used while registering for JAMB to access your e-facility profile.
