Nigerian Navy Recruitment Requirement 2024
To be eligible for recruitment into the Nigerian Navy, candidates must meet the following criteria. Failure to meet these requirements will result in disqualification.
- Nationality: Candidates must be Nigerian citizens by birth.
- Educational Qualifications: A minimum of 5 credits in SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB, obtained in a maximum of two sittings, is required. School certificates must not be more than 6 years old at the time of application.
- Age Requirements:
- For SSCE and equivalent qualifications, candidates must be between 18 and 22 years old as of September 30, 2024.
- For NCE, Diploma, Sportsman/Sportswoman, Imam/Chaplain, and Driver/Mechanic qualifications, candidates must be between 18 and 26 years old as of September 30, 2024.
- Character: Candidates must have no criminal convictions.
- Identification: Candidates must provide their National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Physical Requirements:
- The minimum height is 1.69 meters for men and 1.65 meters for women.
- Candidates with visual or hearing impairments, communicable diseases, mental health issues, stammering, or any other physical disabilities are ineligible.
- Candidates with tattoos are not eligible to apply.

Follow the steps below to complete your application on the Nigerian Navy portal via www. joinnigeriannavy.com:
- Go to the Nigerian Navy recruitment portal at joinnigeriannavy.com.
- Create an account on the portal, and enter your National Identification Number (NIN), email address, and password. Click the “Register” button to create your account.
- Log in using your email address and password to access your new account.
- Fill in all required data and upload scanned copies of your documents as indicated on the portal.
- Once you have submitted the application form, print the following documents: Police Certification Form
Local Government Certification Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form and Approval form.

The online registration for the Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2024, NBTS Batch 37, opens on November 15, 2024, and closes on December 20, 2024.
The Recruitment Aptitude Test is scheduled for January 18, 2025, at various designated centers across the country.
